Although we felt our coffee making skills were good, we decided to enhance these by moving our coffee on with the wonderful world of “Latte Art” which has proved really challanging and rewarding.
We have however had some great fun and even better competitions between the staff whilst putting our training into action!! I am sure Harley hogs the coffee machine to keep his practice up and trys to keep me (and the others) out of touch.
We wanted to show you our passion about coffee and our own coffee making skills (some using more dirty tactics to be the best barista than others, but then some of us are just naturally tallented I guess!!). So with this in mind we are considering holding a “Coffee Tasting Event”. Our customers can join us and learn about different beans, roasting techniques and the taste of the different blends. We will also tell you some interesting facts about the coffee itself, which will be presented by our coffee roaster and supplier who we intend to bring along.
Keep an eye out for more info and let us know what you think about the “Coffee Tasting Event” next time you are in the shop or indeed sat outside enjoying the lovely spring sunshine we seem to be enjoying!
